dear xxxxxx,

this is harder than i thought it was going to be.. writing a letter to you knowing you might run across it, even talking about the vulnerable side of my heart, ya know the side that is still tender from before. whenever a crush starts its new and shiny a distraction from the world. it’s almost like fog that makes everything hazy, more romantic every moment slowing down to allow for mental notes for later. how is it that my daily interactions with you have been the same, yet i’m excited with every conversation i share with you. i cant help but to smile when i see your name on my phone. i stare at the clock during the day guessing what youll be doing.. in the morning you have classes, lunch you take a nap, evening youll eat and sleep some active then a movie or a game then back to your room.. and i find myself waiting, for any word from you.. bc you are my distraction from this world. crushes are always a bittersweet moment in time.. the not knowing if they like you, the unrequited, the anxiety.. but i look forward to spending my days crushing on you.. it’s the least i can do.
